Thank you for using Tapo (“the App”), a minimalist tempo and rhythm tool designed for music, breathwork, and fitness cadence training. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.
2. Zero Data Collection
Tapo values your privacy above all else.
- No Personal Data: The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal identifiable information, such as your name, email address, phone number, or location.
- No Analytics & Tracking: We do not use any third-party analytics tools, SDKs, or advertising frameworks. Your usage remains entirely private to you.
- Local Operation: All features, configurations, and tempo settings operate completely offline on your local device.
3. Device Permissions
- Microphone Access: The App may request microphone permission solely to provide local, real-time ambient audio visualizations (e.g., the audio-reactive pulse or wave effects). This audio data is processed instantly in memory on your device. It is never recorded, stored, or uploaded to any server.
4. Children’s Privacy
Because Tapo does not collect any data, it is inherently safe for children and complies with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act).
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
